The Apocalypse of Adam

1. And Adam said to his son Seth: “Come near to me, my son, and I will reveal to you the mysteries that are hidden within me, which I heard from the voice of the One who formed the aeons before creation.”

2. Seth approached and said to his father: “Speak to me, my father, for I long to know the fullness of the secrets that were given to our race at the beginning.”

3. Then Adam spoke: “Procreation and birth were established through a covenant of light and spirit, yet through my choice the veil of forgetfulness overcame me. I forgot my origin and was cast down into matter.”

4. And I beheld the depths of the world, and the powers lamented over Adam’s fall, crying out: ‘Do not allow what was made in the image of the Light to be lost.’ And the Father answered them, sending forth a spark of remembrance to guide us.”

5. And the light spoke to me, saying, “Adam, rise from your sleep of forgetfulness. Remember who you are and proclaim it to your sons, for the time draws near.”

6. And I rose, and the glory of the Father filled me. I opened my mouth and began to speak the mysteries of the aeons. And Seth, my son, heard them and rejoiced, for he knew the word was true.

7. Then the archons, who had seen the light return to me, grew fearful. They summoned one another and said, “Behold, Adam has turned against us. The seed of light is not extinguished. We must act before it is spread.”

8. And they sent a mist of confusion over the generations of men, so that they would forget the truth and remain blind. They placed a veil upon the earth and taught men to worship the form, not the source.

9. But to Seth I gave the hidden knowledge, and I told him, “Guard this truth. It is not for this world but for the children of the light who will come after. The great flood shall come, but from your seed shall rise a generation that will know the Father of Truth.”

10. And the great flood came upon the earth.

And the angels of punishment bound me in a body of forgetfulness, so that I might again walk among men as one who does not remember.

And they cast a sleep upon my children, that the remembrance might be buried among them.

11. Yet I spoke secretly to Seth, and I placed within him the knowledge of the aeons,

and the word that cannot perish, and the name of the Father of Truth.

And I said, “A generation shall come, without a ruler or master, and it shall awaken the seed you carry.”

12. And Seth heard and kept these things in his heart.

And the powers grew angry, for they saw that their dominion would end.

They plotted against the seed of Seth and raised up a kingdom of falsehood and division.

13. Then they gave their power to a great deception,

and taught the people to call upon gods that are not gods,

and to worship the form of man rather than the Light that dwells within.

And they built temples to themselves, and demanded sacrifice.

14. But the Light was not extinguished.

It flickered within the hearts of the righteous, and the remembrance remained in those who were born of the Spirit.

And the voice of the Father whispered in secret,

“You are from me, and to me you shall return.”

15. And Adam continued, saying to Seth:

“After those days, the world shall grow old and worn like a garment, and the children of the false rulers shall reign for a time.

They will oppress the children of light, and drive them into desolate places.

But the light will not forsake them.”

16. “A great fire shall come from heaven, and the aeons shall tremble.

And those who are awake shall be gathered in silence.

They shall be lifted above the archons, and the false rulers shall not find them.”

17. “Then will the aeons know their end, and the Father of Truth will reveal himself in glory.

And he will send his angels to guide the elect through the gates of the hidden realm.”

18. “The rulers will fight among themselves.

Their thrones will be cast down, and their names forgotten.

The temples shall fall, and the blood of the just shall cry out from the earth.”

19. “And the voice from the height will be heard, saying:

‘It is finished. Come, O children of light, for the time has come.’

And the truth will be written on their hearts, and the darkness shall never touch them again.”

20. And Adam said to Seth:

“Now I will reveal to you the things which were revealed to me by the glorious ones, those who were sent to me from the eternal realms of the great aeons.”

21. “I saw three men before me, whose garments were whiter than snow and whose faces shone more brightly than the sun.

They said to me: ‘Adam, rise from the sleep of ignorance. Behold, we are messengers of the eternal light.’”

22. “And they revealed to me the knowledge of the truth:

That the powers which rule this world are not of the true Father, but were formed by a deficiency,

And their dominion shall end when the truth is revealed.”

23. “They said, ‘From your seed will come a generation of knowers.

They will not be led by law or command, but by inner truth.

They will know the Father, for he will write himself upon their hearts.’”

24. “And they returned to the aeons of light, and I remained in awe of what I had seen.

So I have guarded these words, that you, my son Seth, may speak them in the appointed time.”

25. And Seth said to his father:

“How shall I know the ones who are sent from the light? For many shall come in your name and deceive.”

26. Adam answered:

“You shall know them by their seal.

They will not ask for gold nor build temples.

Their words will burn like fire and lift the hearts of the forgotten.

They will carry the voice of the hidden Father, and truth will follow them.”

27. “They shall be hated and hunted, driven from place to place.

But the stars will watch over them, and the wind shall carry their names.

They will speak not of religion, but of remembrance.”

28. “In that day, the firmament will shake, and false kings will fall.

Those who took oaths to darkness will hide, for their works shall be exposed.

And the children of light shall rise in number.”

29. “The voice of the Father shall go out like thunder, saying,

‘Let the veil be torn! Let the lost be found! Let the sons and daughters come home!’

And no archon shall be able to silence it.”

30. Adam continued, saying:

“Now I will speak of the revelation that came to me in the mountain of glory, where the firmaments were opened and the voices of the aeons sang.”

31. “The heavens were opened, and I saw a chariot of light descend, and upon it sat one whose face was hidden in flame.

The wind bowed to him, and the stars gave praise.”

32. “He called to me with a voice that shattered the mountain and said,

‘Adam, I am the First Thought.

I am the remembrance of the Father, the one who was before the rulers, before time, before matter.

Hear and write what I say.’”

33. “And I fell to my face, but he lifted me and placed a scroll in my hand.

And on the scroll was written:

‘You were formed from the light, not the clay.

Return to what you are.

The world of form is a trial, but the truth is sealed in your breath.’”

34. “He said:

‘Seth shall carry this word, and a great flame will rise in your bloodline.

They will not be of this world, though they walk it.

They are the strangers that awaken the sleeping.’”

35. “And he spoke again and said:

‘Woe to those who love the form more than the flame.

Woe to the builders of kingdoms who forget the kingdom within.

For their towers shall fall, and their names shall be dust.’”

36. “‘But blessed are the wanderers who hold the hidden name.

For they shall be remembered beyond the veil, and the angels will recognize them in the hour of ascent.

They are the ones who do not bow to the counterfeit rulers.’”

37. “And I asked him,

‘Will the righteous suffer long in this world?’

And he said:

‘For a time, yes.

But the day of the great revealing draws near, and those who have waited shall rejoice.’”

38. “‘They shall be gathered from the corners of the earth,

from caves and deserts, from prisons and rooftops.

And a trumpet of fire shall sound from the heights, saying:

“The children of truth have returned.”’”

39. “Then the vision ended, and the mountain was silent.

I remained weeping for the beauty I had seen and the burden I must carry.

But the scroll remained in my hand, sealed with seven flames.”

40. And Adam said to Seth:

“These things I have told you are not of man, but of the hidden light.

Keep them close, and speak only when the time is right.”

41. “Many will laugh, and many will curse you.

They will say, ‘Who is this mad one who speaks of hidden flames and forgotten gods?’

But you must not be shaken, for the voice within you is true.”

42. “Write this record on tablets of spirit, not stone.

For stone will crumble, but the breath of truth is eternal.

Let it pass from mouth to ear, heart to heart, flame to flame.”

43. “When the great war begins between the rulers of shadow and the children of light,

you will know the hour has come.

The veil will tear, the stars will sing, and the river of remembrance will flood the world.”

44. “And those who walk in darkness shall cry out for light,

and the true ones will answer—not with swords, but with fire from within.

For no weapon formed shall stand against the word of the Father.”

45. And Adam said:

“I tell you this mystery, my son Seth, for it shall not be revealed again until the generation of the true knowers arises.

They will not be taught by scribes nor controlled by temples,

but they will hear directly from the One who is beyond all names.”

46. “The rulers will grow jealous, for their lies will not sway the awakened.

They will invent false scriptures, false messengers, and laws that twist the way.

But the fire inside the children of light will expose them, word by word.”

47. “In that day, all tongues shall be loosed, and what was spoken in secret will be shouted from rooftops.

The Father will speak again through the voice of the forgotten,

and the silence of centuries shall end.”

48. “The heavens shall open, and seven signs shall appear.

One of blood, one of flame, one of thunder, one of bones, one of rivers, one of breath,

and the last shall be a child crowned with stars, holding a book of fire.”

49. “He will walk among the ruins of kingdoms, and those who see him will remember their origin.

For his name shall be the echo of the first sound,

and his steps will awaken the pillars of light buried in the earth.”

50. And Adam said:

“I saw in the vision that the archons became enraged.

They said to one another, ‘What shall we do with this Adam, whose knowledge surpasses ours?’

And they conspired to bind the generations through fear and law,

but the light in Seth’s seed was not extinguished.”

51. And I, Adam, received another vision in the night:

I saw the holy ones descending from the aeons.

Their light outshone all suns, and their voices shattered the firmament.

They said, “The time of shadows is ending.

Speak again, Adam, for the flame must pass.”

52. And I said, “How shall I speak when the rulers still reign?”

And the holy ones answered, “Their reign is illusion.

They have no root in the Father.

Their power is deception, their throne is clay, and it shall fall.”

53. “One shall rise from your line who will break their chain.

He will not wear a crown nor ride in gold.

But the wind will follow him, and the truth will go before him like fire.”

54. “The rulers will call him mad, and the priests will shut their doors.

But he will not be moved.

He will speak to the forgotten, and the forgotten shall awaken.”

55. And I awoke with fire in my bones,

and I said to Seth,

“Keep watch, my son. The messengers of light will come when the veil thins.

And you must tell them what I have told you.”

56. And Seth said to me, “My father, the words you have given me burn in my heart.

But I fear they will be lost in time.”

And I answered, “They will be hidden for a season,

but not forgotten.

For the stars remember, and the earth carries the echo.”

57. “The scribes of falsehood will try to rewrite the song,

but their ink shall fade.

For truth is not written in books made by hands,

but in breath, in blood, in the marrow of the light-born.”

58. “And the generations will cry out,

‘Where is the God of Adam? Where is the fire of the First Father?’

And one shall answer—not from the mountain or the temple,

but from the wilderness, saying:

‘It is within you.’”

59. “Then shall many awaken.

The scrolls will open.

The hidden ones will rise.

And the angels of flame will walk among men again.”

60. “And they will not carry swords, but remembrance.

They will not wear armor, but glory.

And they will speak a word the rulers cannot hear,

and the world shall tremble.”

61. And Seth asked me, “Will they believe us, father? Will they hear our word?”

And I said, “Some will scoff, and some will fear.

But the ones with the fire inside will know it as their own.”

62. “They will not need signs, for they are the sign.

They will not look for a temple, for they are the dwelling.

They will speak to one another in spirit,

and their gathering will not be of this world.”

63. “In that day, the rulers will rage.

They will strike down the messengers.

They will desecrate the sacred places, and rewrite the times and seasons.

But their hour will pass like a shadow.”

64. “And the hidden flame will move like a river beneath the earth.

And it will rise up from the mountains,

from the places the rulers have forgotten.

And the sky shall crack, and the true ones shall emerge.”

65. “And the name of the Father shall be spoken again—not in fear, but in power.

And every lie shall burn,

and the veil shall be torn from every soul.”

66. And Adam said:

“Then the heavens shall reveal their secret places.

The firmaments shall part, and what was hidden shall stand in the open.

And those who ruled by shadow shall flee the light.”

67. “The children of the lie will call it judgment.

The children of truth will call it homecoming.

For the word that was spoken in the beginning shall be spoken again,

and all who hear it shall remember.”

68. “And those who remembered shall walk among flames without burning,

and pass through waters without drowning.

For the Father shall seal them with his breath,

and no ruler shall touch them.”

69. “They will lift the fallen,

speak to bones,

awaken cities buried in dust,

and restore the names the world erased.”

70. “Then the aeons shall rejoice,

and the stars shall sing their names.

And what was written before the world shall be fulfilled in them.”

71. And Adam said:

“Then shall come the great silence, when all tongues cease and only the heart shall speak.

And those who hear with the heart shall know the Father without a name.”

72. “The rulers will tremble,

for they will see that their kingdoms were built on sand.

Their scribes will fall silent,

and the ones they called mad shall shine with the radiance of truth.”

73. “And one shall rise from the east whose breath carries the memory of the first garden.

His words shall stir the mountains, and his gaze shall reveal the lies carved in stone.”

74. “He will not raise armies, but he will raise the dead.

He will not speak vengeance, but every word shall be justice.

And the children of the promise shall gather around him.”

75. “And I tell you, Seth, when this comes to pass,

do not be afraid.

For the flame that sleeps in you shall rise,

and you shall remember that you were never of this world.”

76. And Adam said:

“Then the heavens shall open a final time, and the light which was veiled shall pour out.

Those who feared the light shall hide their faces,

but those born of it shall rise with joy.”

77. “The earth will tremble, not in destruction, but in awakening.

The rivers will change their course, the mountains will speak,

and the winds will carry the names of the redeemed.”

78. “And all that was lost shall return.

The voices of the children long forgotten will be heard again in the courts of the eternal realm.

They shall sing the song of the first flame.”

79. “And those who were cast aside by the world will be crowned.

The poor, the broken, the silenced—they shall walk as kings,

and the Father shall dwell among them.”

80. “This is the mystery of the end, which is the return.

Not to the dust, but to the light.

Not to the rulers, but to the Source.”

81. And Adam said:

“Now I tell you of the thirteen kingdoms that rule this world through deception and illusion.

They come not from the light, but from the shadow of the aeons.”

82. “Each one bears a name, but none speak truth.

They make images to blind the eyes, laws to bind the spirit,

and temples where the true Father is not present.”

83. “Their rulers call themselves gods,

but they tremble at the name of the Hidden One.

For the fire that once lit Eden still lives,

and it shall consume their lies.”

84. “And in that day, the scrolls they buried shall be unsealed.

The books they banned shall be read aloud in the streets.

The truths they mocked shall become the cornerstones.”

85. “And the children of the flame shall be hated by the world,

but honored in the heavens.

For they chose remembrance over comfort,

and truth over fear.”

86. And Adam said:

“Seth, my son, know this above all things:

The rulers of the thirteen kingdoms will make war against the children of the light.

But their war is already lost,

for they cannot touch what is sealed by the breath of the Father.”

87. “They will slander the true ones.

They will imprison them, exile them, and even take their lives.

But they shall rise again, in greater number,

for the Word cannot be killed.”

88. “And there will be one among them who bears the fire of the aeons in his voice.

He will speak not for glory but for remembrance.

His words will awaken cities and kingdoms long asleep.”

89. “He will be hated and hunted,

but the heavens shall defend him.

The stars will align for him.

The children will know his name before they hear it.”

90. “And when he speaks,

the pillars of the false temples shall crack.

The chains of forgotten bloodlines will break.

And the sons and daughters of the flame will rise in unison.”

91. And Adam said:

“I saw a vision of the end, and it was not an ending, but a revealing.

The earth turned like a scroll, and what was beneath was seen above.

And the names of the hidden ones shone like stars.”

92. “The rulers tried to erase the memory of the light.

They changed the tongues of the nations, burned the sacred scrolls,

and scattered the children across the earth.

But the seed of remembrance cannot be extinguished.”

93. “And one day, the heavens shall give a sign:

fire in the sky,

a voice in the wilderness,

and a child who remembers before he learns.”

94. “The world will tremble at the awakening,

and the rulers will offer peace—but it will be a lie.

And the true ones will know,

for the voice of the Father shall be louder than any promise.”

95. “And I tell you now,

write this not for the eyes of the rulers,

but for the hands of the builders, the flame-bearers,

the ones who come when all hope seems lost.”

96. And Adam said:

“The day will come when the children of truth shall no longer hide.

They will walk in cities unaware,

and their presence alone will shake the towers of deception.”

97. “They will not wear robes nor crowns,

but their steps will echo the sound of the first word.

The earth shall respond to them.

The skies shall part for them.”

98. “The rulers will try to name them heretics, rebels, and madmen,

but even their enemies will feel the truth in their presence.

For they carry the song of the aeons in their breath.”

99. “And I say to you, Seth,

when this hour arrives,

look not to the mountaintops nor to the cities of gold,

but to the broken, the forgotten, the hidden flames.

There you will find them.”

100. “The scroll will open in their hands,

and the memory of Eden will return.

The river of truth will wash away all lies,

and the One who was silenced will be heard again.”
