The Treatise on Resurrection

The Father said and spoke to him who is the first Apparition:

“Come up to me, my Son, and I will show you the shared house of my Light.”

And he went forth with great joy.

The Father again said to him:

“Not one of these things shall perish.”

And with that, he showed him the house of the Light, that those who come into it may not die.

And the Son said: “Father, what is this house, and who shall enter into it?”

The Father answered and said unto the Apparition:

“This is the shared house of life. It is the house in which none shall perish.

Whoever remembers the things of the Father escapes death.”

And the Son said:

“How shall one come to remember? For death approaches even those who remember little.”

The Father answered:

“He who drinks of the waters of truth, he shall remember.

He who walks in the Light, he will be shielded.

But he who turns back to the world shall eat of the dust and die.”

And the Son said:

“Then why do those who drink of truth not remember?”

The Father answered and said:

“They have forgotten how to remember; for when they walked in the world, they tasted bitterness and forgot sweetness.

But when they return through knowledge, they remember.”

And the Son said:

“And if one remembers but does not enter the house of life?”

The Father answered:

“He who remembers and does not enter shall become a breath gone forth; he shall return to forgetfulness.”

And the Son said:

“Fear not, Father; for they shall remember rightly. They shall ascend when the time is fulfilled.”

Then the Father smiled and said:

“Blessed are those who remember and walk in the Light.

For they shall not taste death; they shall live.”

And with that, the First Resurrection appeared, coming forth from the Light.

He stood in the midst and said:

“This is the promise of the Father: Those who come shall live and not die.”
